Dubai, UAE – 23 January, 2020 – Western Digital, a leader in data infrastructure, has collaborated with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) for the 25th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) to deliver innovative solutions for customers to capture, preserve and easily access their memories from the exciting season. Centered around the theme of Creating Memories in Dubai, visitors to the shopping festival will be treated to great product offers and retail experiences hosted by Western Digital up until February 1, 2020.

For the 25th edition of the festival this year, Western Digital joined the two-day Grand Opening ceremony at Burj Park, Downtown Dubai on 26 and 27 December 2019, with three experience zones at the Retail Area. The Memory Zone, which highlighted the ease of managing precious memories created over the season, had discounts on a host of 64GB* SD™ cards including SanDisk Extreme® and SanDisk Extreme PRO® microSD™ Cards; SanDisk Extreme and SanDisk Extreme PRO SD cards; SanDisk® Portable SSD; iXpand™ Go and regular USB drives; and the SanDisk Ultra® Dual Drive USB Type-C™, to name a few.
During DSF, Western Digital wants to provide visitors opportunities to create unique and fun memories of their Dubai experience. At the SanDisk booth, visitors could not only buy SanDisk brand products they were interested in via special promotions offered only at Burj Park, but they could also create fun and unique memories at the company’s Epic Picture Zone using the colorful props and backgrounds that were provided in the booth. Moreover, visitors to Dubai’s heritage district at Al Seef were greeted with various Instagram worthy photo booths, giving them the chance to experience the city’s rich culture and history and share it with the world.

Western Digital will be present with more fun and offers at the swyp Market Outside the Box (MOTB) outdoor shopping experience that will run from January 16 to February 2, 2020. The company will also introduce a gaming area powered by its WD Black™ portfolio at the Beach Canteen that takes place at Kite Beach and features a series of pavilions with areas for children, food, entertainment from February 20 to March 7.
