The Beauty Oasis Spa Introduces ‘glowinface' - a First of Its Kind Facial Yoga Treatment in the Uae

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - April 14, 2019:  Health and wellness facility, The Beauty Oasis Spa have welcomed yet another world class treatment to their service offering - ‘GlowinFace’, an unprecedented facial yoga treatment to mark its debut in the region.

Founded by Karin Velikonja, the treatment is an effective face yoga technique for toning and sculpting the muscles thereby preventing the facial muscles from weakening, sagging and losing volume over time as well as for helping to get rid of wrinkles, double chin, dark circles and returning a luminous glow to the skin.

When we think of aging the first thought that pops up is: nourishing our skin. It is true, skin-care is important, but did you know that behind your skin are several other layers that need special care too? There are more than 50 muscles on the face; all of them closely connected. However, we don't use more than half of them throughout our lives.

When unused, muscles get atrophied, and due to gravitational forces, shrink in volume and sag, which leads to the skin sagging and ultimately give rise to the appearance of wrinkles. When the muscles are not active, the slower blood circulation doesn’t reach the deepest layers, making the skin dull and dry.

Based on Chinese medicine and face mapping, wrinkles, acne and discoloration have a deeper meaning as it is believed that every part of the face is connected to a particular organ in the body. Wrinkles in between the eyebrows equate to overactive liver energy that needs to be balanced, dark circles show weak kidney energy.

All of this can be balanced and restored via the revolutionary facial yoga technique which is not only the most natural and effective treatment for toning and sculpting the facial muscles, but works on balancing the meridians and internal health too. The Facial Yoga treatment works to help improve blood circulation, stimulate collagen production and elasticity, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to the skin surface.

Every exercise in the treatment targets a different facial muscle thereby creating volume and achieving a completely natural facelift. The 45-75 minute long procedure is guided by trained therapists at The Beauty Oasis Spa, who stimulate your facial muscles and acupressure points to balance the meridians. The workout is a followed by a mask and serum application to cool down the muscles.

The best way to achieve long-lasting visible results is to attend a series of 5-10 treatments, one each week or every other week followed by continual practise at home even after your visit to the spa.

The ‘Glowinface’ treatment is available with prior booking at The Beauty Oasis spa, all though Saturday to Thursday from 9AM – 9PM.
Treatment Price – AED 300 – 450.
