Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation Attracts 1200 Emirati Job Seekers at Careers UAE 2018

Dubai-UAE: 15 March, 2018 –   Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) witnessed significant interest from Emiratis seeking job opportunities in the charity and social work domain at Careers UAE 2018.

During its participation in the leading job fair for UAE nationals that concluded today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, AMAF’s representatives introduced job seekers to the Foundation’s work, objectives and initiatives. In addition, they offered the Emirati youth advice on how to build a successful career in humanitarian work.

Over the course of the three-day event, AMAF received over 1200 job applications from Emirati students and fresh graduates. The Foundation will review the applications and select suitable candidates according to the recruitment needs of each department. New hires will receive training as per AMAF’s human capital development plan.

His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of AMAF, said: “Our participation in Careers UAE 2018 reinforces our drive to boost Emiratization in our departments through attracting qualified and competent UAE national personnel keen to make a difference in endowment work and minors care in line with the objectives of the UAE Centennial 2071.

He added: “Projects and initiatives within the framework of the UAE Vision 2021 require a substantial investment in developing national capabilities across all sectors. We are committed to supporting our youth as they embark on their careers and help them enhance their contribution to building a competitive knowledge economy in the post-oil era.”

Highlighting the focus on attracting national talent at AMAF, His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa said: “Emiratization levels at AMAF indicate high public awareness about the Foundation’s important role in promoting solidarity among the UAE society. In the future, we aim to step up our efforts to attract more Emiratis to our ranks.”
