Dubai, UAE, December 19, 2016: Jaeger-LeCoultre recently had the privilege and pleasure of hosting Coya Members’ Clubs and Entrepreneurs Organization at an exclusive watchmaking class.. The class was an initiative to celebrate craftsmanship and innovation in Fine Watchmaking. The Jaeger-LeCoultre class was offered to a private gathering of special invitees, hosted by a visiting watchmaker from the Swiss Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture. The select list of VIPs were there to enjoy this rare and exclusive experience firsthand. During the class, guests enjoyed an absorbing experience that revealed the intricacies, skill and magic of watchmaking, and participants were also encouraged to explore the know-how and craftsmanship that goes into the creation of each finely crafted timepiece. The guests were shown how a mechanical watch movement works, and were also invited to dismantle and assemble watch movements in order to understand the fundamentals of watchmaking tools. Marc de Panafieu, brand director, said: 'We at Jaeger-LeCoultre were delighted to have Entrepreneurs Organization and Coya members join us at our recent Watchmaking class. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our expertise on the precise craft of watchmaking with an enthusiastic, receptive and interested group of VIPs, who expressed their profound appreciation and enjoyment of this class.' Jaeger-LeCoultre is certainly in the position to have hosted this class, with its history and expertise in watchmaking stretching back to 1833. Since then, Jaeger-LeCoultre has proved itself a worthy and admirable contributor of fine watchmaking. Its notable inventions in this field include the keyless watch, silent regulators for repeater watches, the Caliber Jaeger-Le Coultre 101, which weighs barely one gram, as well as the iconic Atmos and Reverso watches, all of which are an indelible part of the brand's rich heritage. Perhaps nothing illustrates better the creative passion that drives the men and women of the Grande Maison than the 1,249 mechanical calibers that have been developed as well as the 413 patents that have also been registered.
