With just 3 days left before the festival comes to a close on 4 September, we rounded up some of the best deals around, and asked Dubai’s social media stars to share their recommendations for picking up a bargain this DSS. 

SHOPPING FAVES FROM DUBAI’S SOCIAL MEDIA STARS

With so many amazing offers and deals for shoppers across the city, Dubai’s social media icons and influencers shared their experiences about the season’s best buys. From lifestyle and fashion to technology, five top influencers gave us their product picks and shopping top tips.

For Maryam Mirza, a YouTuber and social media influencer with over 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, her recommendations for a very special purchase this DSS is a Tiffany gold necklace from Jawhara Jewellery. 

Mum and lifestyle blogger Nilufar Yuldash, with over 200,000 followers on Instagram, wanted to highlight some of the deals on offer at Home Centre. “I’m excited to buy the Ethan one-drawer study desk with a hutch for my son, it's part of his bedroom collection but it was a little expensive - but now it's 40% off!,” she said. 

Two social media stars are big fans of Jumbo Electronics’ offers including Nawfa Nurie Khan, with over 200,000 Instagram and 400,000 TikTok followers. Nawfa said, “I thought the Jumbo mobile phone offers were a catch! Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a new phone during DSS.” 

Leila Aljour, known as the Matis, a lifestyle video creator with over 150,000 Instagram followers and 100,000 YouTube subscribers, also singled out Jumbo Electronics. “The GoPro at Jumbo seemed like a very tempting offer -  I'll go back for it!,” she said. 

Amal Ahmad, with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, shared her favorite purchase of the season and also showcased her sense of style. Amal  said, “I bought this beautiful cloth fabric to design a jalabya and kaftan... the best part is it was for half the price!”.
