CSR UAE Fund & ALFAHIM Group Collaborate to curb the spread of COVID-19

•Hundreds of safety kits were given to underprivileged families and workers in Abu Dhabi

                                                                                                                           


Abu Dhabi, 12 May 2020: Supporting the UAE’s mission to combat the spread of COVID-19, ALFAHIM Group has joined hands with CSR UAE Fund to distribute hundreds of safety kits to underprivileged families and blue collar workers in Abu Dhabi through the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.


Nuha Al Harmoudi – Director of CSR UAE Fund, the official federal platform for all businesses operating in the UAE to actively engage in socially responsible practices, said “All CSR projects listed on the csruae.ae platform are based on the priorities defined by the UAE Ministries and government entities and are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. We thank all our supporters for their contribution during these critical times.”


Mohamed Abdulla Al Fahim – ALFAHIM Group Head of Business Development, said, “We are grateful to the UAE’s leadership for their continuous efforts in supporting the community and safeguarding our health. Every contribution will aid in protecting our safety and saving the lives of vulnerable individuals within our society.”


Hundreds of safety kits were distributed by the organizations to all positive cases who attended Al Rowda Healthcare Centre. The kits were comprised of facial masks, safety gloves, hand sanitizers and wet wipes. Each box also includes a flyer on how to prevent infection to increase community awareness on personal hygiene, symptoms and other important information.
 
In addition to donating safety kits, ALFAHIM Group has taken all precautionary measures and applied stringent hygienic procedures across all its premises to ensure employees, customers and partners are safe. Besides limiting traffic within the organization by facilitating virtually working from home for the majority of employees, business members under the group have also introduced new services to accommodate customers’ needs from the comfort of their homes.
