Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 20, 2020:   Huawei recently launched its latest flagship, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G. Packed to the brim with a wide range of innovations, ranging from a powerhouse performance to iconic features and even heavy security, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G is all set to take smartphone innovation to the next level. Here are the top 5 innovations that give the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G the King of 5G smartphones title.

Super 5G performance

The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G is the world’s first second generation 5G smartphone, and furthermore what makes this phone stand out from the 5G crowd is its ability to support both Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) 5G networks.

Simply put, current devices use the NSA 5G network, which is based on existing 4G hardware. However, there will be an eventual transition to SA 5G networks, which has the advantage of being faster, more efficient and more stable. Without support for both network standards, devices that support only one network will cease to work when the network changes, resulting in users having to buy new phones. However, thanks to its support for both NSA and SA 5G networks, HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G users can enjoy seamless connectivity across all regions and stages of 5G development.

This is made possible with the Kirin 990 5G chipset, another innovation that is the world’s first dedicated 5G chipset. The sophisticated design of the chipset has both the 5G basebands and processors to be built into one chipset, allowing for a more compact and efficient design that delivers powerful 5G at lower temperatures.

In addition to providing better connectivity solutions, the Huawei flagship also gives users dual SIM (5G+4G) support, where one SIM can be used on call, while the other can receive calls and access Internet at the same time.

An Iconic device

Huawei’s innovative streak is also evident in the bold handset design of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G. Boasting a striking look thanks to its unique Halo Ring design and 88 degree Ultra Curved HUAWEI Horizon Display, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G takes traditional design ethos and mixes functional and stylish innovations to make it much more premium device. It is topped off with two new and iconic colors of Vegan leather Orange and Emerald Green.

While its iconic looks do make it stand out, the innovative integration of AI features give users a completely new and unique way to use their phones, making everyday tasks a lot more enjoyable. The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G takes touch screens to the next level, by not having to touch them at all. With AI Gestures, users can complete tasks with gestures like sliding up and down or pinching to take a screenshot. AI Rotate on the other hand, detects and measures the angle the user is looking at the screen and automatically rotates the screen for an uninterrupted viewing experience. Users can also use Multi-screen collaboration to seamlessly stream their phone on compatible Huawei MateBooks, allowing for faster and easier data transfer and productivity enhancement.

Videography taken to the next level

The HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G houses the world’s first 40MP dual main camera that includes a 40MP Cine Camera and a 40MP SuperSensing Camera, in addition to an 8MP Telephoto Camera and a 3D Depth Sensing Camera. This camera setup alone is packed with a wide range of innovative enhancements that make it capable of feats such as Ultra Slow-motion Video at 7680fps and Ultra Low-light video with ISO upto 512,000, the highest ever for mobile videography. You can now shoot beautiful videos of a bird flapping its wings or even take a video during a night cruise with limited light with ease. Both of these feats earlier required professional cameras and with the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G, it is just a click away.

Long-Lasting Battery with powerful charging solutions

To ensure that it lasts for extended periods of browsing, streaming and even gaming, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G is packed with a massive 4500mAh battery. This large battery can also be quickly charged back up with TUV Rheinland certified 40W Wired and 27W Wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge technology, along with an improved reverse wireless charging for other compatible devices. Users can also get a 40W In-Car Wired Charge and 27W In-Car Wireless Charger to seamlessly charge on the go.

Privacy and security at heart

In order to ensure that users data is safe, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G has opted for an isolated Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) outside the open Android environment that manages the encryption, verification and storage of sensitive data such as fingerprints, facial information and voiceprints. This data is then stored locally on the most secure part of the chipset itself. Additionally, the AI Private View feature identifies the user’s face and will promptly hide any messages if it detects an extra set of eyes, even sending a notification to the user. In terms of device security, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G uses a Dual-biometric authentication comprising 3D Face Unlock and In-screen Fingerprint.

On an additional note, the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G does not come with Google Mobile Services pre-installed. However, users will be able to download and enjoy applications from the HUAWEI AppGallery that is already installed on the phone.
