Dubai, UAE, 14 January 2020:   In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), Majid Al Futtaim’s biggest shopping malls in Dubai – Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and City Centre Mirdif – are offering 25 lucky customers the chance to become SHARE millionaires, under the company’s lifestyle rewards programme. The three shopping malls will together be giving away a total of 25 million SHARE points to shoppers, in addition to hosting fantastic activations and entertainment.

Running until 1 February, five winners of 1 million SHARE points each will be drawn weekly, with the second set of winners revealed on 11 January. Each has won the equivalent of AED 100,000 in SHARE points to spend across Majid Al Futtaim’s ecosystem of 16 shopping malls and 2,300 stores across the UAE.

That’s more than enough for an indulgent staycation at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates or Pullman Dubai City Centre Deira, plus a thrilling visit to iFly Dubai at City Centre Mirdif. There will even be SHARE points to spare for an extravagant wardrobe makeover, a longed-for apartment redesign, or that perfect piece of jewellery.

With 15 more winners to be found, all shoppers have to do to secure their SHARE millionaire status is use the SHARE app as they spend AED 300 at any of the three malls and their diverse mix of outlets. That includes Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, and some of the biggest brands in F&B, fashion, homeware, and more.

To enter the prize draw, customers can either use the SHARE wallet or scan their shopping receipts through the app. To start enjoying the benefits of the programme and get the chance to become winners, customers need to download the SHARE app, which is available on Google Play and the Apple Store.

In collaboration with the Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), the three
Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls have been fully decked out for the ultimate retail and entertainment experience, featuring art, games, music, and surprises. There is the opportunity to grab a fistful of SHARE points by stepping into a wind tunnel full of SHARE money at
City Centre Deira, while surprise gifts will parachute from the ceiling at City Centre Mirdif. Meanwhile, Mall of the Emirates has transformed into a stage, with tap dancing and
rock and roll performances keeping the festival spirit alive.

Nada Abou Saab, Marketing Director, Shopping Malls (East region),
Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said, “Majid Al Futtaim is proud to create even more great moments during one of the biggest retail events in the city. We are confident that friends and families will make unforgettable memories as they peruse their favourite outlets, be pleasantly surprised by the activities taking place, and maybe even become SHARE millionaires.”

She added, “We partnered with Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment when it launched Dubai Shopping Festival 25 years ago, and it’s a real honour to continue working shoulder to shoulder with the organisation on such a compelling experience for our visitors. This year’s festival will further cement our shopping malls as premier retail and entertainment destinations of choice among the UAE community and tourists alike.”

The Dubai Shopping Festival kicked off on 26 December with an exclusive 12-hour-only (from noon to midnight) flash sale at six Majid Al Futtaim malls across Dubai:
Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Me’aisem,
City Centre Al Shindagha, and My City Centre Al Barsha. The Dubai Shopping Festival was launched in 1996 and has since been promoted at multiple international roadshows, positioning Dubai as a key tourist attraction with one of the world’s biggest shopping festivals.
