Abu Dhabi, November 11, 2019 - Al Masaood’s Projects & Engineering Services Division (PESD) is participating for the 21st consecutive year in the 2019 edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). Taking place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the event is set to gather over 110,000 regional and international participants.

During the event that will run from November 11 to 14, 2019 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Al Masaood’s Projects & Engineering Services Division, one of ADIPEC’s major partners and exhibitors, will display its latest technology solutions related to energy sector, which have been designed in collaboration with internationally recognized engineering and service providers. Al Masaood PESD will run two exhibition stands - Stands 3430 and 3530 – at the venue’s Hall 3.

The division will showcase its latest environment-friendly compressor the ‘High-Speed Oil-Free Integrated Motor-Compressor’ (HOFIM™), which is used to eliminate dry gas seals, lube oil system, gearbox damaging the machine, and other components. The emission-free and light-weight HOFIM™ has low carbon footprint.

Additionally, HOFIM™, which is suitable for remote control and unmanned operations, is highly cost efficient because it requires minimum service and maintenance. It can be used in several applications such as gas storage and pipeline, untreated wellhead gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and carbon dioxide, to name a few.

PESD is also set to showcase its advanced solution for pumps that are fitted with KSB Germany’s ‘KSB Guard.’ The easy-to-install and reliable product regularly monitors the status of in-situ pump to immediately report deviations from the pre-set parameters. Such reports enable urgent action to prevent substantial damage to the pump, thus leading to reduced repair costs.

Wael Al Ashkar, General Manager of Al Masaood’s PESD, said: “Being at ADIPEC for 21 years in a row is a testament of the continual demand we have witnessed for our reliable solutions, and the ample business opportunities that we have received through this participation. The Exhibition presents an ideal platform for us to showcase multiple new solutions for the Oil and Gas, petrochemical, and sustainable energy sectors. These solutions are being utilized by multinationals in their large-scale engineering projects as some of these landmark projects are considered important to the UAE’s continued socio-economic progress.”

Ashkar added: “Through this participation, we will not only shed the spotlight on our portfolio of integrated energy services but we will also share our contributions to the country’s development by being an active player in the energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, and water sectors. We are very eager to share our four decades of experience in providing exceptional services to our clients in the UAE and the rest of the GCC region.”

Apart from oil and gas and power, Al Masaood’s PESD also supplies a wide range of industrial and engineering equipment to the local water and heavy industry markets in the UAE and its neighboring states. It also offers comprehensive services to the supplied products. The division’s services are delivered in partnership with renowned global engineering manufacturers and service providers.

Al Masaood’s PESD has been involved in numerous prominent projects, including the Das Island LNG train projects, the Gasco Ruwais’ gas processing train, and the Sour Habshan field development.
