“Hamriyah Free Zone” Promotes its Competitive Advantages and Services at “Gulfood”

UAE, Sharjah, 17 Feb 2019: Hamriyah Free Zone is participating in the “Gulfood 2019” Exhibition in Sharjah, the world’s largest annual event in the Food and Beverage Sector where it will promote the investment advantages and services it offers to local and foreign companies.

As it participates in the 24th edition of the Exhibit that launches (tomorrow Sunday) at the Dubai World Trade Center to conclude on the 21st of February, the Free Zone focuses on marketing its leading project “Sharjah Food Park” with the aim of attracting more local and foreign investors.

HFZA’s pavilion at the Exhibit hosts a number of free zone companies operating in the Food and Beverage Sector as part of its objective to support outstanding companies that invest in the Free Zone and highlight the most prominent regional and global brands based in the Free Zone and expanding into the local and regional market.

The “Food Park” Services Package

H.E. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority stated that participation in this new edition of “Gulfood” is an opportunity to introduce Hamriyah Free Zone’s service and benefits package offered to global companies specializing in the Food and Beverage Sector through its “Sharjah Food Park” project, which was developed by HFZA two years ago.

Al Mazrouei indicated the HFZA’s annual participation in “Gulfood” is part of its interest in attending major global events that highlight HFZA as it solidifies its position as one of the Middle East’s fastest growing free zones and most attractive to investors from around the world. This is due to its leadership and excellence in offering a wide range of facilities, services and competitive advantages pursuant to the best international standards aligned with Sharjah’s economic vision and “UAE 2021”.

HFZA invited “Gulfood” visitors to stop by its pavilion to learn of the facilities it offers businessmen, entrepreneurs, companies and individuals from various countries in terms of license issuance to investors in “Food Park”, food exportation health certificates, NOCs, official approvals, training and advisory services and food inspection in addition to brokerage and liaising between investors and local authorities, offering support and guidance and other services.

It is worth mentioning the “Food Park”, which comprises land, warehouses, offices and various facility services occupies a total area exceeding 11 million square feet, offers plots starting from 2500 square meters and up in addition to licenses and food-industry related events, housing for over 26 thousand workers and many other value added services offered to food companies by the Foods Department at HFZA.
