Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, 23 January 2018:  His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, paid a visit to the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone’s (RAKEZ) premises today to explore the premier facilities and exceptional services provided by RAKEZ to global investors.

The tour began at the RAKEZ Service Centre – Al Hamra. His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAKEZ, along with the Board of Directors, Managing Director and Group CEO welcomed the Ruler where he witnessed the quick and easy processes RAKEZ offers to investors. HH Sheikh Saud engaged in a chat with the employees in the new Service Centre, acknowledging their active role and efficiency in serving customers, which he believes effectively supports the growth of businesses of all sizes and types in the emirate.

Afterwards, HH Sheikh Saud proceeded to the headquarters of RAKEZ to have a look at the progress of the recently concluded renovations in the premises as well as interact with the employees from various RAKEZ departments. The Ruler expressed his delight with the achievements of RAKEZ, most importantly, for becoming one of the leading investment hubs in the UAE. “I am pleased to have witnessed the remarkable growth and development of RAKEZ, evidenced by its upgraded facilities and exceptional services, which are offered in a central location. RAKEZ provides a premium investment environment to businesses that come to Ras Al Khaimah, supporting the emirate's vision of boosting investments and creating a nurturing community for investors from all over the globe,” he said.

HH Sheikh Ahmed commented that HH Sheikh Saud’s tour to RAKEZ is a testimony to the Ruler’s commitment to ensuring the emirate’s position as a preferred business destination for all local and international investors. “At RAKEZ, our clients’ satisfaction is at the top of our list as they are among the growth enablers of the emirate. Over the years, we have stayed true to our commitment of providing customised facilities and high standard services in order to help unlock their full potential,” he said. Furthermore, HH Sheikh Ahmed praised the efforts of the management and the entire RAKEZ team for their dedication in achieving the economic zone’s organisational objectives as well as enhancing the role of RAKEZ as one of the most important engines of economic growth and diversification in Ras Al Khaimah.

Prior to the Ruler’s visit, RAKEZ Service Centre – Al Hamra was launched in Al Hamra area earlier this month to provide seamless processes and first-class services in a one-stop shop. Currently, RAKEZ is working on the development of other service centres, which will be announced later this year.
