Al-Futtaim Honda launches Consumer Happiness Counter initiative

Dubai, August 16, 2017:  Al-Futtaim Honda, exclusive distributor of Honda cars, bikes, marine engines and power products in the UAE, in partnership with the Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector in Dubai Economy, have launched the ‘Consumer Happiness Counter’ initiative across all its locations in Dubai. 

The initiative is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to make happiness and positivity an inherent part of the UAE lifestyle and in support of Dubai Economy’s objectives of enhancing happiness across the emirate. 

The Consumer Happiness Counter will ensure that customer feedback is dealt with quickly and effectively.  

Colin Cordery, Regional Managing Director at Al-Futtaim said, “We are extremely pleased to support Dubai Economy for this initiative. At Al-Futtaim Honda, we truly do strive to put the customer at the centre of everything we do. Our own set of Customer Service Values are something we live by daily, always taking the time to consider how we can serve the customer better, make them feel more welcome in our locations and making sure that doing business with us is easy, transparent and personal.”

To show their appreciation a delegation from Dubai Economy led by Abdullatif Al Marzouqi, Senior Manager of Consumer Awareness visited the Al-Futtaim Honda showroom at Dubai Festival City. They were given an overview of how the Al-Futtaim company combines a strong focus on excellent business practices, associate and customer engagement to create a culture and environment for customer happiness by Yolanda Delport, General Manager of Marketing at Al-Futtaim Honda and Mohammad Ibrahim, Government Relations Manager. 

In addition, Ms. Delport also gave the delegation a preview of the digital technology being used by Al-Futtaim Honda to interact and enhance customer experience. 

Abdullatif Al Marzouqi said, “The Consumer Happiness Counters initiative is part of Dubai Economy’s strategic objective of enhancing happiness across the emirate and promoting cordial relations between traders and consumers. The success of this programme will only be possible with active participation from the private sector. We are extremely happy that Al-Futtaim Honda has taken the lead to include the latest digital innovations to better their customer experience.”
