Dufill Industries, part of the Al Abbas Group, Dubai and renowned bed linen, soft furnishings and bath products manufacturer has struck a major deal with Gabriel Scientific, infection resistant range of bedding products major from Ireland. The volume of the deal has been estimated as $ 10 million. Hadi Al Abbas, Director, Dufill Industries and Mr. Chandy, Managing Director, Dufill are the helmsmen behind the initiative. Under the deal, a licensed manufacturing agreement along with an exclusive retail distribution agreement has been instituted between the companies.
Dufill Industries was established in the year 1997 for manufacturing bed and bath products. Dufill uses the best fabrics and all material used are pre-inspected at mills before taking up for production at its facility in Dubai. The company has very strict quality control systems in place. Quality checks are made from the time the fabric and the packing materials are received, through different stages, like cutting, stitching, quilting, packing etc. till final shipment to customers.
Gabriel Scientific designs and makes patented ‘Sleep Angel' bedding range, using a bacteriological filter technology to block viruses, allergens microbes and moulds and generally contributing to a healthy and comfortable night's sleep. This product is sold in over 20 countries serving the Retail and HealthCare Market. Gabriel Scientific's pillow range is the first pillow product in the world to get Medical Device accreditation and is clinically tested validating the health benefits it brings to market.

Gabriel Scientific will launch into the MENA market in mid-October through Health First Pharmacy Group with the target of reaching over 500 pharmacies in the coming year and will launch into strategic retail outlets in November to service the anticipated demand for this product.
