LINDT makes a delicious appearance at the Julius Bär Beach Polo Cup presented by Cadillac in Dubai

Premium chocolate manufacturer, LINDT & SPRÜNGLI lent its delectable support to the Julius Bär Beach Polo Cup presented by Cadillac in Dubai. Held between the 10th and the 12th of April at Skydive Dubai, the celebrated Beach Polo Cup is currently in its 10th year and is an event highlighted in every major sporting and social calendar.

The premium chocolate company sponsored the LINDT MASTER SWISS CHOCOLATIERS team that was clad in brown and gold, shades compliment the brand’s warm mélange of shades. The LINDT team participated in the Horse Parade at The Walk Jumeirah Beach Residences and followed it up by playing in an impromptu polo match on the beach! 

Onsite at the Beach Polo Cup, LINDT boasted a LINDT MASTER CHOCOLATIER Live Station that featured a flurry of activity. LINDT MASTER CHOCOLATIER Dimo Simatos created a portrait masterpiece entitled “The Perfect Polo Shot” entirely made of LINDT chocolate that was a major highlight at the Charity Auction. The extraordinary interpretation in LINDT chocolate was auctioned off at AED 9,000 and all the proceeds were donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs. LINDT MASTER CHOCOLATIER Dimo Simatos also created over 2,000 hand decorated LINDT LINDOR lollipops and over 200 slabs of handmade LINDT Milk, Dark and White chocolate bark. The guests were treated to luscious cocktails made with LINDT chocolate and could choose from a LINDT White Chocolate Strawberry Martini, a LINDT White Chocolate Pina Colada Martini or a LINDT Dark Chocolate Mocha Martinis. OLATIER Dimo Simatos also presented retired Argentine footballer and special VIP guest, Mr. Diego Maradona, with exceptional chocolate gifts of LINDT LINDOR chocolate and a hand wrapped one kilogram LINDT GOLD BUNNY! The ingenuity of the artistic LINDT MASTER CHOCOLATIER didn’t end there as he also fashioned a replica of the actual Beach Polo Cup trophy out of chocolate live on site for all to see! 

LINDT adorned the kids and public zones in its unique style as a large inflatable LINDT GOLD BUNNY welcomed visitors to these areas. Children were treated to LINDT chocolate, LINDT GOLD BUNNY colouring books, scavenger hunts and LINDT GOLD BUNNY ears while the proceeds from all LINDT chocolate sales in these zones went to charity, thus reiterating the brand’s commitment to altruism.  

Much like in sport, creating premium chocolate is an art that requires great skill, dedication and passion, and the LINDT MASTER CHOCOLATIERS are masters of this craft.
