Hardware+Tools Middle East 2016 looks ahead to standout show

Dubai, UAE: Hardware+Tools Middle East 2016 is set to showcase the entire spectrum of hardware, tools, materials and machinery and attract more exhibitors and trade buyers than previously, as regional demand continues to grow.

With market estimates indicating that the UAE market for tools and machinery is worth over AED 10 billion, industry representatives are looking at the event, now in its 17th edition, to further increase their footprint across this high-spending marketplace.

Spurred on by the continuing growth in the construction sector, demand for hardware, tools and machinery in the region is on the rise, making the region, along with the powerhouse economies of China, India, Brazil, Russia and ASEAN, the main targets of international hardware and tools manufacturers.

“Hardware+Tools Middle East continues to fill a vital interactive and facilitative role in the ongoing development of the regional hardware and tools market, as the region continues to post encouraging growth rates,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East.

“The event is the only dedicated networking event serving the industry and brings together the majority of trade buyers and professionals engaged in the region’s hardware and tools industries.”

The previous edition of Hardware+Tools Middle East attracted  more than 3,500 trade visitors trade buyers from across the Middle East and North Africa, including distributors, retailers, exporters, importers, contractors, fabricators, consultants and industry professionals involved in the booming regional construction sector.

More than 300 brands were represented at the three-day event, many of which took centre-stage at the debut of Expert Zone – a dedicated display of innovative tools and machinery from leading internationals brands such as Bosch Power Tools, Rhodius, Sparky, Rothenberger, KNIPEX, and Milwaukee.

Hardware+Tools Middle East 2015 also witnessed a range of regional launches by various brands including: Companion Brands from Australia, Italian companies VIPA and Tecnotubi Picena, and Japanese companies BIC Tool and Nitto Kohki.

Exhibitors participating at Hardware+Tools Middle East 2015 were overwhelmingly satisfied with the results of their participation at the region’s only dedicated trade and business development platform for the hardware and tools industry.

Leading German manufacturer of professional pliers, Knipex, will also be back after their successful debut at the event last year. Ralf Pusch, owner of the brand said: “We are looking to expand the distribution and awareness of Knipex in the Middle East and Africa, as an expert supplier of high quality professional pliers for all kinds of industries and applications.

“We will also be launching new products into the region at the show including, Cobra Waterpump pliers, pliers wrench, electrical installation pliers, high performance diagonal cutters, and compact bolt cutters.”

Hardware+Tools Middle East 2016 will feature Country Pavilions from China, Thailand and Taiwan, while popular features such as the Expert Zone will be back again this year. The exhibition is expected to draw in more than exhibitors from 11 countries and a wide spectrum of trade buyers from across the region, keen to interact with and sign deals with leading international manufacturers and suppliers.
