Dubai-UAE: 6 June 2013 – Over 60 Mother Entrepreneurs convened at the June 2013 edition of Mom Souq's Mompreneur Meet-Up to learn best practices, and how to integrate numerous strategies into their daily routine to run and build successful businesses.

Organised by Mom Souq, the Mompreneur Meet-Up was held on 5 June 2013, at the Dubai Ladies Club in Dubai, UAE.

The keynote speaker at the June 2013 edition of Mom Souq Mompreneur Meet-Up was Mrs. Hala Badri, Executive Vice President, Brand and Communications for Du.

Mrs. Badri provided an in-depth analysis on how Mompreneurs can integrate successful CSR initiatives into each of their respective businesses. Her key focus was to create employment opportunities for individuals that will lead to job creation, and thereby enhance their companies and the economy as well.

Mrs. Mona Tavassoli, Founder of Mom Souq, said: “The insights provided by Mrs. Badri were extremely beneficial. Her presentation on Du, through CSR initiatives, which was able to create additional employment for the UAE, unveiled numerous ideas and opportunities that Mompreneurs can capitalize on to ensure the consistent and profitable growth of their businesses today.”

People today take the time to educate themselves on products and services before they make a purchase. Ms. Salma Mohamed, Associate Product Marketing Manager for the MENA region for Google explained to Mompreneurs the importance of having an online presence.

Ms. Mohamed stated that traditionally in order for a company to succeed, the customer needs to know the physical location of the business. However, in today's digital world, it is imperative to have an online presence to ensure customers know who you are during their decision making process, along with the added benefits offered relative to the competition.

Building on Ms. Mohamed's presentation was Loulou Khazen Baz, Founder and CEO of Nabbesh, and winner of the reality show ‘The Entrepreneur', who explained the importance of hiring the right staff along with the steps on how to build a highly effective and efficient workforce.

Other speakers that attended and demonstrated how Mompreneurs can add to their portfolio of accomplishments and success consisted of: Alex Sworder, Project Manager, The Life and Style Show UAE 2013 and Becky Crayman, Head of Awards, Gulf Capital SMEInfo Awards.

Mom Souq organizes Mompreneur Meet-Ups every month providing valuable business information from the UAE's top executives from leading companies.
