Emotional bonding of mothers with daughters in the spotlight in Ribat Al Hob only on Zee Alwan

Dubai, UAE; May 27, 2013: The nurturing relationship of every mother with their daughters is in the spotlight in the series Ribat Al Hob on Zee Alwan, the entertainment channel aimed at Arab family audiences by offering an array of Arabic, Turkish and hugely popular Indian TV serials dubbed in Arabic.

Based on the Indian custom of arranged marriages, Ribat Al Hob follows the story of Archana, a daughter with minimal education but tremendous responsibilities. Impeccable and determined, she is part of a family where everyone depends on her, but no one realises her true worth, except her mother and brother.

Set in a modest home in India, Ribat Al Hob highlights life in the Indian society, with a mother seeking out a well-educated boy who earns enough to take care of her daughter, in the face of several obstacles.

Archana's story runs in parallel with Manav's, a garage owner who falls in love with her at first sight. His credentials fall short to be accepted as a fitting spouse for Archana, which leads him to lie about his background.

Audiences can catch the series on Zee Alwan, from June 24, at 11pm, KSA time, Saturday to Wednesday. They can also catch the latest episodes of Zee Alwan's roster of series through frequency 12417 on Nilesat and 12111 Arabsat.
