|Dubai's Digital Media Forum to Kick Off with Twitter Executive who Will Address Region's Top Marketers|
The Region's First Conference of its Kind Leverages Opportunities in the GCC
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 21 May 2013 - Brilliant minds in the global digital media arena to gather to share knowledge and expertise at the second annual Digital Media Forum 2013 (DMF) - the region's first conference of its kind, in a city identified as a prospect digital hub for the region. Set to take place this Wednesday May 22 and Thursday the 23rd, 2013 at the One & Only Royal Mirage, DMF will be attended by more than 400 CEOs, high-level executives, and entrepreneurs from the automotive, financial, FMCG, advertising and media industries.
With some 20 per cent of attendees from Western countries, the Digital Media Forum is a medium for leading figures to discover innovative opportunities for the lobbying of big ideas, effective planning and the strategic implementation of business both regionally and globally as well.
Najla Semaan Mazboudi, Managing Director of SPOTON Media Services and Events, who organised the forum, hopes DMF will foster creative decision-making.

Day one of the DMF kicks off with Guy Yalif - Head of Global Product Marketing, Twitter, US – who will educate organisations on how to amplify creativity through consumer conversations, rich media and cross channel integration. Key high level executives from Google, Booz &Co and other top multinationals will then lead a panel on “Digital Content”. This is followed by a series of discussions featuring “Digital Disruption” and “Measuring Social Media Effectiveness”. Day one ends with Ralph Rivera – BBC's Director of Future Media and Member of the Executive Board – who will present “Bringing you the Future since 1922 – Innovation at the BBC”.
Inspiration peeks on Day two of the DMF as MBC discusses a case study on “Multi-Screen Behavior in MENA” and more TV talk goes on about “The Evolution of the TV Experience” by Vevo and a TED.com speaker. More panels on “Creating Engaging Content” and “The Impact of Social Media on Today's Youths” will be stirred by various speakers from Yahoo, Mindshare and JWT while “Mobile Future Trends” and “Mobile Powered Communities in Emerging Markets” will coach organisations on providing better services. A workshop entitled “From Social Media to Social Business”, moderated by DOTNXT, will take place throughout the day.
