Designer duo, Faiza Haider and Tasmeer Kamal draw from their knowledge of, and passion for furniture and interiors

Villa Showroom in Umm Suqueim to Open Doors in August

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 25th July 2013 – Launching next month Burgundy Design will bring to Dubai exquisite, premium-quality, exclusively-handcrafted furniture and accessories from all over the world.  Creating a niche destination for customers where they can experience the best of designer furniture and furnishing brands under one signature space, the label will cater to a clientele that is looking for exclusivity.

“We are launching the brand to provide consumers access to the most beautiful and exquisitely hand-made furniture pieces that are not only affordable but also unique, classical in style and selected because of their aesthetic appeal,” said Faiza Haider, Co-Founder of Burgundy Design.

“Burgundy Designs will feature a wide range of items unique to the UAE market, including hand-made chandeliers, carpets, and embroidered raw-silk upholstery – providing a one-stop destination for all interior-design needs,” said Tasmeer Kamal, Co-Founder of Burgundy Design.

The 4,000 square foot space will showcase the highest quality of furniture and an inspirational and imaginative collection of interior products. Brands include Sana Safinaz, Yoc'a, Renaissance and Mehreen Dawood and Burgundy's own signature collection. The showroom will also feature artworks, exhibiting and curating internationally-renowned artists. In addition to housing pure silk materials, hand woven carpets and striking chandeliers, the store will also provide design consultancy services.

Sana Safinaz
The label of design duo Sana and Safinaz has long been associated with graceful, elegant, chic and eye-catching styles. Sana Safinaz's furniture collection features timeless and sophisticated pieces where contemporary meets classy with a harmonious balance between functional and chic.

Yoc'a
Established in 2006, YOC'A, or the Young Collective Artists, is Pakistan's only home couture brand run by three professionally trained architects, uniquely interpreting aesthetic and scale within an international design vernacular. YOC'A represents high-end design and a unique flair for style. They are distinguished by their understated elegance, and as a boutique furniture and home textile brand. As a couture brand, YOC'A offers an exclusive yet versatile repertoire of design-led furniture suitable for both corporate and consumer clients.

Mehreen Dawood
A label renowned for its unmatched craftsmanship, with a streamlined aesthetic that draws on line and form. The range features unique pieces, embellished to perfection.

Renaissance
A name to reckon with when it comes to solid wood furniture. Integrating a touch of aristocracy with quality wood, Renaissance offers the choicest ensemble of furniture.

Burgundy Designs will launch in August located in Umm Suquiem on main Al Wasl Road, between the Al Manara and Thanya Street intersection.
