Hala Barghout said, “It is imperative that children need to adopt a well-balanced and varied diet. Apart from eating a daily recommended amount of vegetables, fruits, cereals and high quality protein and dairy products, physical activity should also be enjoyed by children, making it a large part of their daily routine. It is the sole responsibility of the parents to ensure that their children eat well and eat right.” “Minimizing the intake of processed foods while ensuring regular snack breaks with their three main meals will prove beneficial in the long run,” she added.
Adding on the child development subject, , Super Granny Andalene said, “Discipline is guiding your child to make the right choice, by setting an example, setting firm boundaries, allowing them to make their own choices, and thereafter allowing them to bear the consequences of their choice.”
“When a child has internalized the lesson through experiencing natural consequences and then chooses not to repeat the behavior, is ultimately what you want to achieve.” she added.
