Dubai Culture and Letswork Collaborate to Provide Creative Spaces in Dubai
• Providing flexible workspaces that fit the needs of creative entrepreneurs in minutes.
• Providing access to a network of premium creative co-working spaces at affordable prices.
Hala Badri:
• The first government entity in the region to partner with the private sector to provide flexible creative workspaces for talents.
• We are keen on supporting talents and providing them with necessary tools to be successful entrepreneurs.
• Our goal is to make Dubai a home for every innovator around the world and a place to achieve their dreams and develop their businesses.

Dubai, UAE - 18, October 2021:  As part of its continuous endeavour to support talents through benefits and facilities, as well as enhance the contribution of the creative economy in the emirate and strengthen its position as an attractive business destination, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is collaborating with Letswork in a first-of-its-kind public-private partnership in the region to provide a range of flexible work spaces for creative talents within a network of distinct and different destinations within the city, at reasonable prices and with exclusive benefits.

In this context, Dubai Culture and Letswork, the innovative platform to provide practical solutions for co-working spaces in the country, signed a cooperation and partnership agreement that aims to provide Dubai’s creative community with creative work spaces to suit their needs in optimal work environments outside their traditional ones. This initiative will have a positive impact on the creative sector, and society as a whole, and encourage entrepreneurs to live and work in the emirate. It also falls in line with Dubai Culture's vision to strengthen the emirate's position as a global centre for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a thriving hub for talent as well as the global capital of the creative economy.

This public-private partnership also falls within the framework of the Al Quoz Creative Zone development plan, which is proceeding in accordance with the goals set for it to become a comprehensive and integrated hub for the prosperity of creative businesses in Dubai. Through it, the two parties seek to make the process of searching for and booking workplaces easier for Dubai's creative community, where talents can obtain additional discounts through the Letswork membership among other benefits within the creative spaces available on the platform's network.

Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, said: “This partnership stems from our support of national strategies aimed at making Dubai the ideal destination for the creative community and the preferred destination to live and work, especially for those looking to launch their creative projects. We are pleased to be the first government authority in the region to have partnered with the private sector to provide flexible workspaces for creatives, based on our experience of what it takes to establish creative businesses and on the importance of securing flexible and diverse workspaces at reasonable prices. We are cooperating with Letswork to provide an integrated system that will help talents establish their creative work as well as provide them with the best opportunities to benefit from a comprehensive set of services, ensuring them a smooth and innovative journey.'

Badri added: “We seek to support creative talents and provide them with the necessary tools to be successful entrepreneurs. Through our cooperation with Letswork, the talents in Dubai, whether citizens or residents, will receive several benefits and take advantage of a package of offers that we are working to provide them with through such public-private partnerships. Our goal is to make Dubai a home for every creative talent in the world that will help realise their dreams.

Letswork provides affordable, practical solutions for workplaces within the emirate, in addition to a membership that offers access to the best cafes, hotels and co-working spaces available in the city, among many other benefits. Talents can also find and rent on-demand spaces, such as podcast rooms, photo studios, recording studios, temporary workspaces, event spaces, and more to suit their creative needs.
Omar Al Mheiri, Co-founder of Letswork, commented: “The concept of ‘work’ has shifted over the past two years, let alone the past decade. Letswork aims to be at the forefront of offering suitable spaces for people to conduct their work as they define it. Dubai is rich with spaces that enable and foster creativity; our partnership with the Authority will help the creative community to explore these spaces.”

Al Mheiri added: “That’s what we’ve accomplished with our collaboration with Dubai Culture, where creatives can find spaces for their needs, be it event spaces, pop-ups, art galleries, studio spaces, museums, and libraries, among others. Now, creatives can also be part of a larger community of remote workers in Dubai and access support through events, workshops, exclusive perks, and benefits, which can help them grow and showcase their talents.”
You can join Letswork by following a few simple steps that only require logging onto the website www.letswork.io and selecting your desired package, ranging from daily (AED 39), weekly (AED 209), and monthly (AED 499). The membership also offers several benefits, such as wireless internet access, discounts on food and beverages, and free parking.

The content and details of the partnership were discussed between Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, and Omar Al Mheiri, Letswork Co-founder, at the Ivy's secret garden - Boutique indoor greenery, one of the latest creative destinations in Al Quoz.
