With a honorable history and a long experience in introducing exceptional events and initiatives, Information City continues its humanitarian journey to embody the greatest meanings of unlimited compassion and generosity, and to place the Emirate of Dubai ahead of others in terms of community service and upgrading the level of health, knowledge and community awareness to address diseases and epidemics.
In this regard, Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum says: “Humanitarian, social and health work has always been our primary goal and the focus of our attention to push the Emirati community to the front.”
“Our latest activities in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, is to provide 500,000 face masks and face shield in cooperation with our strategic partner (Dubai Ports World - UAE Region) and a number of governmental and humanitarian institutions and agencies operating in the United Arab Emirates. We could provide 100,000 sterilizing materials as well, in cooperation with Unilever and a number of other companies.'
'There is no doubt that our response to the Covid-19 epidemic taught us to be more persistent and strong to face all challenges and win the battle over them. 'Educate a child ... Build a Nation' from 2012 to 2016, during which more than 5,000 students were trained, and more than 5,000 laptops were gifted to the trainees.
