  • HRMS01 system to raise the levels of medical sterilization and minimize the probability of an outbreak of hospital-acquired infections
  • Danny Bogar, Chief Executive Officer of American Green Technology, says: “We are excited to partner with Belhasa to bring the HRMS technology to the United Arab Emirates”

Dubai 14 February 2015, Belhasa group of companies has just finished installing the first stage of the American Green Technology’s Health Risk Management System HRMS01 at Al Garhoud Private Hospital in Dubai. The HRMS01 system raises the levels of medical sterilization and minimizes the probability of an outbreak of hospital-acquired infection[s] (HAI) which causes nearly 100,000 deaths and costs health services around the world $45 billion annually.

Balhasa, a Dubai based holding company active across a variety of industries, is the exclusive distributor of the American Green technology in the region, including Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates, received the order for the HRMS01 system from Al Garhoud Hospital at the end of November 2014.

According to the American Centers for Disease Control and prevention HAI is the 4th leading cause of death, above AIDS, breast cancer, and car accidents combined. In addition, it Increases the average stay of a person in hospital from 9 to 25 days. CDC recommends 4 levels of hierarchy when fighting infections: Pressure, Filtration, Purification, and Dilution. HRMS01 combines these 4 recommendations to effectively neutralize HIA sources of infections. Also, it has proved effectiveness against The Middle East respiratory syndrome also known as “Corona viruses”.

Negotiations between Belhasa and Al Garhoud Private Hospital started in mid-September 2014 prior to product samples being installed in the hospital and its facilities. Commenting on this, Danny Bogar, Chief Executive Officer of American Green Technology, said: “We are excited to partner with Belhasa to bring the HRMS technology to the United Arab Emirates”, and added: “Healthcare facilities like Al Garhoud Private Hospital set a high standard of care by using advanced technologies such as the HRMS to ensure the safety of their patients and staff.
The HRMS is the only environmental disinfection system which works 24 / 7 unobtrusively against pathogens, viruses, bacteria, and fungi in the healthcare environment with a 99.7% effective rate.   It’s our hope to see healthcare facilities across the Middle East adopt this technology as an extra precaution in fighting Healthcare-associated Infections and Superbugs, as other hospitals are around the world”.

Balhasa is diversified group offering turnkey solutions across a spectrum of business interests such as real estate, construction, automotive, technology, education, trading, insurance, investment, travel and tourism.
