Twenty “Perfectionists” share their idea of perfection
In a new international advertising campaign launched on September 1st 2014, Piaget introduces “Perfection in Life”, a tagline that delivers a seductive invitation to discover a universe of exceptional watch and jewellery pieces in the most inspiring locations around the world. “Perfection in Life” is about perfect products, for perfect people in perfect places.
To accompany the launch of “Perfection in Life”, the creative expression of the Maison’s longstanding passion for perfection through technical and aesthetic virtuosity, Piaget is inviting a group of 20 international “Perfectionists” to express their own impressions of this ideal. Like Piaget, these ambassadors and friends of the brand excel in their own fields, dedicating themselves to the pursuit of perfection.
The first “Perfectionists” to reveal their passion for perfection through social media: Yves Piaget (descendent of the famous dynasty of watchmakers, and now Chairman of Piaget SA), Facundo Pieres (one of the greatest polo champions in the world and Piaget ambassador), Maria Joao Bastos (Portuguese actress and symbol of elegance), Yara (Lebanese singer and Arab music star), Pablo Heras-Casado (2014 Conductor of the Year and head of St Luke’s Orchestra New York) and Dorothée Gilbert (Principal Dancer of the Paris Opera Ballet).
Reflecting all the different facets of perfection represented in Piaget’s advertising campaign, these “Perfectionists” share what this theme represents for them: whether their idea of a perfect evening or a perfect sky, or the locations that embody perfection in their eyes, or simply their own personal definition of perfection in life. Because above all, “Perfection in Life” is the perfect combination of extraordinary places visited, the most unforgettable moments in life and the precious pieces worn in those moments.
While Yves Piaget reveals that only nature is truly perfect, dancer Dorothée Gilbert equates perfection with harmony. From 8 September, Piaget will unveil the participation of 15 more “Perfectionists”, in turn they will be invited to share their own unique impressions through social media.
From 18 September to 20 October, consumers will be invited to share their idea of perfection with Piaget by posting their very own interpretation of “Perfection in Life” through photos inspired by the themes of the campaign: an emblematic place, an exceptional moment experienced, an extraordinary skyline or an ideal way of life. Pictures posted with the hashtag #PerfectionInLife will be entered into a contest: from the pictures given the most “likes” a special jury will select the winning submissions.
