The Travel Technology company attracts big DMC companies on Day 2 of the Arabian Travel Market 2016

Dubai - 27 April 2016: Global Innovations yesterday was challenged in handling so many visitors including big Tour Operators and DMCs from different regions on the 2nd day of the Arabian Travel Market. And while the event got busier with countless number of people coming in the World Trade Centre, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates paid a visit and was welcomed at the big exhibition. Day 2 had a larger number of visitors compared to the opening day and Global Innovations took the opportunity to continue welcoming everyone including big companies from Saudi Arabia, several groups from Oman, Qatar and some Europian countries. These groups of people were eager to know about the new software for the automation of the Hajj & Umrah operations which has been gaining attention since Day 1.

'This is the ATM we’ve always been recognized for — as pure technology company offering automation solutions to the travel and tourism industry', said Kabir Ali Baig, CEO of Global Innovations.

'We have so much in store this time, starting with the launching of Expedia and Regency Travel & Tours integration', he added. 'Several GDS companies showed interests as well, such as Amadeus and Travelport, to name a few, and they are looking at us as serious partner to automate the travel agencies with the non-air product. There will be a meeting with these companies to further discuss our plans. This is truly an amazing development that will definitely add a lot of value to our product.' Kabir said.

While Global Innovations is enjoying a good response from different sectors of the industry, the CEO also explained a very important aspect of what they have been doing as a software solutions provider over the years. Kabir said: 'We are talking about B2B, B2C -- and people have forgotten the very fundamental of the travel trade which is the point of sale. When a customer walks into a travel agency there’s no tool to automate that. This is the innovation which Global Innovations is doing for this business.' The company has cutting edge technology for different POS like B2B, B2C, XML, GSA and White Labeling. Their latest software version is one of the best in the market today.

Now on its 23rd edition, this year's ATM has been the best platform for the travel and tourism industry for many years.
