Dubai, September 30, 2015: Anchored in utility and deconstructed tailoring, the Armani Exchange Winter 2015 collection refines dressing through the inspiration of art, culture and Italian-city style. Quality fabrics, unique textures and innovative techniques elevate urban designs. The collection is comprised of three themes: Monochromic, Nordic Escape and Modern Edge.
Monochromic: Rooted in androgynous suiting, the men’s and women’s collections incorporate city inspired detailing with a timeless feel. Industrial hued print motifs featuring dynamic city grids and fractured lines are juxtaposed alongside dramatic berry ombré and degradé. His wardrobe is defined through sensible outerwear featuring flight jackets, quilted parkas, and nylon puffers while menswear gives contrast to her fluid style.
Nordic Escape: A shift from urban to rural, nature takes center stage drawing inspiration from Nordic landscapes and rugged elements. Her collection of knits and outerwear in a myriad of sophisticated pastels provides a sense of femininity and practicality to winter staples. Chunky sweaters layer under reimagined plaid and camo-print wool coats for an all-terrain uniform. For his survival look, a mountaineering-inspired take on streetwear is seen through slash square prints and textured camo, accessorized with a quilted backpack.
Modern Edge: Classic boiled wool and easy knits are crafted in unexpected proportions, bridging the gap from winter to spring dressing.
The Armani Exchange Winter 2015 collection retails between AED 150 – AED 1995 and will be available in Armani Exchange stores starting October 2015.
